What is this movie 'PROMISE ME THIS' about? Is it a Serbian movie?

Yep, it is Emir Kusturica's movie. On Serbian language - "Zavet"  8;)

I know Emir Kusturica has made many great and funny films... but his name doesn't sound much like serbian, is he a bosian muslim?

He is a Serb, and he recently converted to Nemanja Kusturica:)

bosnians are serbs,as well as craots montenegrians and most macedonians,he converted to ortodoxy

As far as I known he is a at list nominally a muslim. I think that he was thrown out of Sarajevo for sympathizing with Serbs.

Nation such as Bosnian doesn't exist. They are all Serbs but during a rough periods in history some of them changed the fate in order to stay alive. Kusturica is Serbian if I'm not mistaken. He wouldn't be crazy enough to participate a Serbian rally and speak against USA government otherwise, at least not in front of 200k people (Serbian people). I'm looking forward to watch his new documentary movie about Maradona, a famous Argentinian football player. Maradona himself said that this movie is the best ever made about him and that it is the real truth about him.
