JERUSALEM - An Israeli lifeguard taking his regular morning swim off the Mediterranean coast in southern Israel discovered a 2,500-year-old marble talisman to ward off the evil eye, the Israel Antiquities Authority said Sunday

From the headline title, I thought it was going to be about an Israeli lifeguard finding Golda Meir's brassiere on the beach!

this is interesting.. sounds like a kabbalistic thing 2500 years old, like 500BCE.

Actually this is of no significance or relevance whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!

Just because the guy that found it is israeli, and it was in the Mediterranean sea, it doesn't mean that the relic has anything to do with judaism or jews!!

although q-q it might, does it say what language the talisman was written in ? or has the writting been taken off due to ocean currents
