It's supposed to sound good but doesn't it just cause Israel to be more of a prisoner to the US?

I believe it's good news. It is not foreign aid. The U.S. simply wants Israel to help build the missiles. The money does not have to be put back in the U.S. economy. They are relying on Israeli brilliance and Israeli brains.

"205 million dollars will go to projects currently being developed in Israeli factories. According to the report, the defense systems are meant to be able to withstand missiles developed by Iran."

205 mill is peanuts anyway, compared to the real foreign aid package.

If you're really quiet for a minute, you might be able to hear that whiny kike Lieberman, in the halls of Congress, wailing, "Why do you want to have missile defense? Who needs it? Israel should be having a dialogue with Iran."

IT would be bad if Israel asked the US for help

It would be good if they decided to this as a collaboration for both of their interests.  Meaning, Israel is doing this for her survival and the US is doing this to get rid of a country which is sponsering terrorists and may give its nukes to Al-Quieda or whomever?

This looks like an extention of US foreign aid to Israel. So I guess that would be bad.
