"Expel (from the Land of Israel) this bondwoman (Hagar) & her son (Ishmael, ancestor of the Arabs), for the her son shall not inherit (the Land of Israel) with my son Yitzhak (our ancestor)" (Genesis 21)

I should have qualifed my statement by saying in modern times but you are also technically correct,hiwever I had Ben Gurion in mind.

Sarah. Very true. How amazing every step of the way it was the women when listened to, saved or would have saved the Jewish people.

I wish more credit could be given to them today.
