This man's parents came from Russia.   He was in rags.  He worked his way to riches.
He changed his name for a good reason.
He would be less popular as danielovich.

Too bad he married a shiksa & none of his children,grandchildren & great grandchildren are Jews!!!

He was in one of the better movies about Israel.  Cast A Giant Shadow.

He was very talented and lead pretty decent and healthy life and always supported Israel.

That was a classic!  And very positive in favor of Israel and zionism.   He was portraying the hero Mickey Marcus in this movie
