I had an aunt who was really more of a distant relation, but whatever. Big UN official, super leftist and hates religion and Israel, but I loved to debate with her because she never got offended and also hates Islam, so we had that in common. She didn't want to go suffering for months like my grandma, and was bored of being alone, and was really socialist on old people too, so practiced what she preached, went to Switzerland and they injected her in her sleep. I'm so mad at her. She wasn't exactly helping good causes, but I guess I'm more mad that I didn't visit more, but I can't move much with my back. Don't freeking do that or be a socialist.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. Did you talk with her about religion?

Yep. She hated that I went 100% into it and would try to debate against me all the time, and I loved it because I'd come back to the Rabbi with good questions, and the answers would always give me a deeper understanding of the wisdom and beauty and all the wonderful things of Torah, and I could better answer others. She was useful.
This might not be a good memory to other people, but one time I told her make me asparagus and smoked salmon for when I come and she made somehow expensive tofu and pork chops, and it was the first time I turned down food made specifically for me, and she was kind of worried then that I wouldn't be perfectly comfortable with her eating and not me so she was trying to be all understanding and nice in our debate, and I remember that really fondly.
